Was a pleasant surprise how large and level the sites were. The Park is full of large and mature trees and is quite large with several roads through it. On site laundry, bundled firewood and WiFi give you everything you need.

I like this place. As one of our neighbours declares, “always in search of 68 degrees.” He moves north and south year round but this is his northern limit. The Park is a nice quiet spot for seasonal residents and overnighters. There are pull throughs and back in sites. 50 amp plugins are relatively scarce in this part of the country but available here. Dock and launch just down the Longbow lake road.

After a long day on the road, on a busy weekend, we found this place and although it was later in the day & we don't make reservations on road trips, ( because we never know how far we want to drive each day ) they found us a spot for us to pitch our tent. The owner/staff were busy but polite & delivered out firewood. The site was close to everything & the campground was well looked after. They had an outdoor movie screen & were playing a movie for the kids & we went for a nice walk to look at the ponds. Rustic but nice family atmosphere.
