Harbourfest

August 2nd, 3rd & 4th 2019

Harbourfest is the Largest music festival in North-Western Ontario which takes place every August long weekend in Kenora. With daytime family entertainment, merchants, and great food - Harbourfest has something for everyone!

Harbourfest has previously played host to Bret Michaels, Daughtry, Three Days Grace, Doc Walker, Dallas Smith, Streetheart and more. 

It's the perfect bite of ice cream, Chip Truck Fries, Classic Car shows, Sandals, Chirping Birds, Crashing Waves, Flashing Lights, Food and Drink, Variety, Singing, Laughing, Short shorts, High-Fives, and of course, Memories.

Coney Island Maybe Annual ​Music Festival

The Coney Island “Maybe Annual” Music Festival is a small music festival held on beautiful Coney Island, Kenora in the northern most channel of Lake of the Woods with a mix of music and art right on the waterfront beach. There is something for the whole family to enjoy. Come make a day of it!

Matiowski's Farmer's Market

Make It, Bake It, Grow It!

The Matiowski Farmers’ Market has steadily grown in size and popularity since its inception in 2005; it is now one of the largest markets in Northwestern Ontario. Every Wednesday from mid June to early October, the Whitecap Pavilion plays host to just over 100 Market Vendors selling authentic handmade and homegrown products.

At the Market, you will find a variety of farm fresh meats, locally grown fresh produce, and delicious baked goods, dips and spreads. As well, local artwork, jewellery, and textiles all created by area artisans. In fact, offerings at Matiowski Farmers’ Market change week to week and are always a pleasant surprise. Kenora Bass International (KBI)

August 8th, 9th, & 10th, 2019

Kenora Bass International is a catch and release tournament that takes place every year on the waters of scenic Lake of the Woods. When the tournament began in 1988 there were 43 teams competing and now there are over 125 entries.

This annual bass tournament brings thousands of avid anglers to the local area to compete for tens of thousands of dollars in prize money. Because this is a sporting event only, it is designated as a catch and release event which promotes good sportsmanship while being kind to the catch. During this three-day event, each team weighs their catch at the end of each day.



Harbourfront Concert Series

The Kenora Winkler Harbourfront Concert Series is a not for profit organization focused on building the Kenora music scene during the summer months.

Kenora Agricultural Society Fair

August 2nd, 3rd, & 4th 

Kenora Agricultural Fair is a 3 day event usually held the 1st or 2nd weekend in August.

Held at the Kenora Recreation Centre. Midway Carnival, exhibits, animals and displays.

This event showcases products like agriculture, horticulture & floriculture, farm produce, Commercial Feature & Class 2-Poultry,Pet Stock, Garden Vegetables , clothing, Quilts & Quilting, Needle Work, Home Accessories, Heavy Sweaters Hand Knit, Miscellaneous, Beading & Leatherwork, Art, Crafts, Class, Gift Wrapping, Class , Ceramics, Photography etc etc. 



Rotary Lobsterfest!

Lobsterfest is an annual dinner in Kenora. Buy a ticket and enjoy a delicious Lobster meal! Diners are also encouraged to decorate their tables and wear fun costumes!
